LEXINGTON, KY — June 19, 2025 — The 2025 Lexington Junior Championship continued Thursday at Kearney Hill Golf Links, where many of the region’s most talented junior golfers competed across two days of stroke play. The Kentucky PGA Junior Tour continues to present this event as a hallmark of junior golf in the state—offering young players a chance to test their skills on one of Kentucky’s premier public courses.

In the Boys 16–18 Division, Tucker Jones (Richmond, KY) completed a wire-to-wire victory, following his opening 4-under-par 68 with another strong round of 3-under-par 69 on Thursday. Jones finished at 7-under-par 137 for the tournament and carded six birdies across the two days, showcasing elite consistency and short game control. Waylon Clutts (Hazard, KY) made a final-round charge with a matching 3-under-par 69, fueled by six birdies, to finish at 5-under-par 139 and secure solo second place.

Kenzie Willen (Burkesville, KY) captured the Girls 14–18 Division title with rounds of 73 and 74, finishing at +3 (147) for the tournament.
