KY Junior PGA Championship

Championship Description

The Boys Junior PGA Championship Qualifier will be held June 3-4, 2019 at Gibson Bay Golf Course.

The Girls Junior PGA Championship Qualifier will be held June 3-4, 2019 at University Club at Arlington.

This event is a qualifying event for the Boys and Girls Junior PGA Championships that will be held at Keney Park Golf Course in Hartford, Connecticut later this summer. 

About the Kentucky Junior PGA Championship

Only participants playing 36 holes from the Championship Tees will be eligible to qualify for the National Junior PGA Championship.

$110 (18-Holes per day) and $75 (9-Holes per day) entry fee for KY PGA Tour Members.

Age groups for this event are based on the age of the junior, as of the final day of each National Championship, and are: 12 & under (age group does not advance to National event), 13–15 and 16–18 (Overall 13-18 division determines qualifiers).

Non-Members of the KY PGA Junior Tour may participate with an additional cost of $40 per entry ($150 / $115).

Qualifying for the Junior PGA Championship

One qualifier spot will be awarded to the Overall Boys and Overall Girls Champion.

One “Wildcard Qualifier” spot will be awarded to the lowest finish for Boys and Girls “Golden Ticket” holders (More Information).

1st and 2nd Alternate Positions will be determined at the Junior PGA Championship Qualifier.

Players will have the chance to earn a “Golden Ticket” by participating in Kentucky PGA Junior Tour events prior to the Junior PGA Championship Qualifier.
