Persimmon Ridge Golf Club Hosts the 46th Boys Junior Amateur Championship

LOUISVILLE, KY (July 3, 2025) – Kentucky’s top junior golfers are gearing up for the 46th Boys Junior Amateur Championship, set for July 7–9 at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club. Competitors will battle over 54 holes of stroke-play, with a cut to half the field and ties after the second round.
Persimmon Ridge—a demanding, visually impressive course known for its challenging greens, elevation changes, and memorable finish—is well prepared to test the next generation of Kentucky talent.

8:40 AM off #10 Colton Woosley, Talen Beane & Landon Hunt
12:30 PM off #1 Brody Alexander, Branson Adwell & Wyatt Merkins
12:40 PM off #10 William Hudson, Luc Kelty & Will Judd
1:00 PM off #10 Evan Taylor, Jackson Burrice & Reece Keeton

The Kentucky Golf Foundation, the 501(c)(3) charitable affiliate of Kentucky’s Family of Golf Organizations, was founded in 2002 through the vision of the Kentucky Golf Association and the Kentucky PGA. Our core purpose is to positively impact Kentucky youth through the sport of golf. The Kentucky Golf Foundation is solely funded by private individuals and corporate donations, memorials, special events, and contributions from Kentucky’s Family of Golf Organizations.
