Frankfort Country Club Hosts 46th Kentucky Girls' Junior Amateur

FRANKFORT, KY – The 46th Kentucky Girls’ Junior Amateur Championship will be hosted at Frankfort Country Club on June 30– July 2, continuing its proud tradition as the premier event for junior girls' golf in the Commonwealth. Recognized as a premier event in the Kentucky PGA Junior Tour calendar, the championship annually attracts many of the state’s most accomplished and promising female golfers.

This year’s championship will welcome many of the state’s top junior girls to Frankfort Country Club for a multi-day stroke play competition. Participants will compete for division titles, valuable Player of the Year points, and the opportunity to etch their names into the event’s storied history.

First contested in 1979, the Kentucky Girls’ Junior Amateur has served as a launching pad for many of Kentucky’s elite players, collegiate standouts, and future golf professionals. In addition to the individual titles, the event plays a vital role in fostering a supportive environment for female junior golfers to grow in confidence, sharpen their skills, and connect with peers who share a passion for the game.

Round 1 begins Monday, June 30. Results and full coverage will be available following the conclusion of play after each day.
