Frankfort Country Club Hosts 2025 Boys 11-13 & 9-Hole Boys & Girls Junior Amateur

FRANKFORT, KY – The 2025 Boys 11-13 & 9-Hole Boys & Girls Junior Amateur returns to Frankfort Country Club on June 30–July 1, bringing together some of Kentucky’s youngest and most enthusiastic junior golfers. As one of the most anticipated 9-hole events on the Kentucky PGA Junior Tour schedule, this championship celebrates rising talent and introduces players to the excitement of tournament golf in a welcoming and competitive environment.
Players will compete across five age-based divisions: Boys 11–12, Boys 10 & Under, Boys 9 & Under, Girls 10–12, and Girls 9 & Under. The format consists of 18-hole stroke play, with 9 holes contested each day across two rounds.
This event provides a valuable opportunity for developing junior golfers to gain experience in a championship setting, earn Player of the Year points, and build confidence in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Frankfort Country Club’s junior-friendly layout offers the perfect stage for players to showcase their growing skills and sportsmanship.
Past participants of the 9-Hole Junior Amateur have gone on to compete at the highest levels of junior golf in Kentucky, making this event a critical stepping stone in the development of future stars.
Round 1 begins Monday, June 30, with final-round play concluding on Tuesday, July 1.

The KPGA Junior Tour extends its sincere appreciation to Frankfort Country Club and its staff for their continued support of junior golf in the Commonwealth. Results and full coverage will be available following the conclusion of play after July 1.
About the Junior Tour:
The Kentucky Golf Foundation, the 501(c)(3) charitable affiliate of Kentucky’s Family of Golf Organizations, was founded in 2002 through the vision of the Kentucky Golf Association and the Kentucky PGA. Our core purpose is to positively impact Kentucky youth through the sport of golf. The Kentucky Golf Foundation is solely funded by private individuals and corporate donations, memorials, special events, and contributions from Kentucky’s Family of Golf Organizations.
The Kentucky Junior Golf website was established through the vision of the Kentucky Golf Foundation board, aiming to create a single, comprehensive online resource for all junior golf programs in the state.
