Final Results: Boys 11-13 & 9-Hole Boys and Girls Junior PGA Championship

LOUISVILLE, KY (June 3, 2025) - The 2025 Boys 11-13 & 9-Hole Boys and Girls Junior PGA Championship wrapped up Tuesday at Quail Chase Golf Course, where Max DeHaven of Hardinsburg took the title in the Boys 11-13 Division. DeHaven posted an impressive 2-under-par 142, with rounds of 72 and 70. He made a strong showing on the back nine during round one, carding four birdies and straight pars. In round two, he added three birdies and an eagle on #14 to secure the win.

Rex Shieh of Louisville finished in second place with a score of 84-74—158 after rounds of 84 and 74, including three birdies during round two.

 

In the Boys 10 & Under Division (9 Holes), Hagan Newton of Berea captured the victory with a 3-under-par 69. Newton posted rounds of 32 and 37, beginning strong with four birdies and straight pars in round one. He added a birdie on #6 during round two to seal his win.

Jamison Welch of Georgetown finished in second place with an 41-42—83, including birdies on #2 and #9 during round two.

 

The Girls 10 & Under Division (9 Holes) saw Madeline Sherertz of Georgetown take the top spot with an impressive 1-under-par 71. Sherertz posted rounds of 37 and 34, with a birdie on #9 during round one and four birdies in round two.

Bella Wang of Louisville placed second with an 37-34—71, making a birdie on #6 during round one.
