Winchester Country Club to Host 2025 Kentucky Girls Junior PGA Championship

WINCHESTER, KY (May 30, 2025) – The Kentucky PGA Junior Tour is set to host one of its premier events of the summer: the 2025 Kentucky Girls Junior PGA Championship, held at Winchester Country Club on Monday and Tuesday, June 2–3. This 36-hole stroke play competition features some of the top junior female golfers from across the Commonwealth.

The Girls Junior PGA Championship is a flagship event on the Kentucky Junior Golf calendar and serves as a qualifier for the National Junior PGA Championship, with the overall champion earning a spot in the national tournament, scheduled for July 29–August 1, 2025, at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Multiple players from this week’s field are coming off standout performances at the 2025 Junior Falls Cities Championship.

Girls 14–18:

  • Caroline Childers (Bowling Green) – Champion at +7 (74-77—151)

  • Avery Suter (Pewee Valley) – T2 at +11 (80-75—155), won scorecard playoff

  • Emlie Miller (Mayfield) – T2 at +11 (75-80—155)
