2025 Kentucky Boys Junior PGA Championship - Round One Recap

Richmond, KY (May 28, 2025) – Today completed the first day of the 2025 Boys Junior PGA Championship at Gibson Bay. 

 

Boys 16-18 Division

Brody Alexander (Louisville, KY) secured first place in round one of the boys 16-18 division after scoring an impressive four-under 68. Alexander had 2 birdies on the front nine. He also had birdies on #10, #12, and #14 followed by four straight pars to claim first in round one.

Luc Kelty (Fisherville, KY) follows two shots behind Alexander. Kelty sits at two-under 70, currently in solo second. He shot a total of 5 birdies today. 

Landon Hunt (Paducah, KY), Brady Parker (Georgetown, KY), and Luke Ebel (Lexington, KY) currently sit at T3 with one-under 71.

 

Boys 14-15 Division

Greyson Cloern (Louisville, KY) birdied holes #2 and #7 to claim the lead for the boys 14-15 division after round one. Cloern had a strong performance with an even score.

Griffin Jackson (Glasgow, KY) had 3 birdies, including #18, to take second place in round one. Jackson scored one-over 73.

Charlie Webster (Danville, KY) was two strokes behind Jackson at three-over 75.

 

Round two tee times begin tomorrow, May 29th, at 7:30 AM.
