Two-Day Championship Series

Championship Series tournaments are two-day events that take place throughout the spring, summer, and fall. There is one overall age division for both Boys 13-18 and Girls 13-18, as well as age divisions for Boys 14 & Under, Girls 14 & Under, Boys 12 & Under and Girls 12 & Under. The Boys 15-18, Boys 14 & Under, Girls 13-18 and Girls 14 & Under play 36-holes (18-holes each day), while the Boys 12 & Under and Girls 12 & Under play 9-holes each day.

There is a Player of the Year race for both boys and girls. As a member of the Kentucky PGA Junior Tour, you are eligible to play in any Championship Series Tournament and Players Series event. Entry to the Kentucky Junior Amateur is limited to residents of Kentucky.

Championship Series tournaments are nationally ranked and offer exemptions to regional championships as well as AJGA Performance Based Entry (PBE).

  • June 3-4 - Girls Junior PGA Championship - University Club at Arlington
  • June 3-4 - Boys Junior PGA Championship - Gibson Bay GC
  • June 18-19 - Lexington Junior Championship - Lakeside GC
  • June 25-26 - Northern Kentucky Classic - Lassing Pointe & Triple Crown CC
  • July 1-2 - Kentucky Girls Junior Amateur - Cherry Blossom GC
  • July 2-3 - Kentucky Boys Junior Amateur - Bardstown CC at Maywood
  • July 9-10 - Louisville Classic - Polo Fields G&CC
  • July 22-23 - Junior Tour Championship - Big Spring & Harmony Landing

About Golf House Kentucky

Golf House Kentucky is the umbrella organization for Kentucky’s Family of Golf Organizations: Kentucky Golf Association, Kentucky PGA and Kentucky Golf Foundation. The vision of Kentucky’s golf leaders, Golf House Kentucky was founded in 1978, and is headquartered in a picturesque country setting in Louisville, Kentucky.
