2019 Golden Ticket Information

At the Kentucky Junior PGA Championship, the Boys and Girls Overall Champion will advance to the national Junior PGA Championship. In the events leading up to the Qualifier, Kentucky PGA Junior Tour Members will have the ability to earn a “Golden Ticket” for 2019. The lowest finish among all Golden Ticket holders at the Kentucky Junior PGA Championship will receive a spot in the 2019 Junior PGA Championship. Playoffs will be used to settle ties to determine who advances from the Qualifier among Golden Ticket holders.

Only Kentucky PGA Junior Tour Members will have the ability to earn Golden Tickets by placing 1st in the Boys 17-18 and Boys 15-16 combined, as well as Girls 16-18 and Girls 13-15 combined in Players Series Events. The Golden Tickets will also be awarded to competitors placing in the top 3 in the Boys and Girls Overall Divisions in Championship Series Stroke Play Events. All players involved in a tie for Golden Tickets will earn the chance to compete for a spot in the Junior PGA Championship at the Kentucky Section Qualifier.

Junior Match Play
(Please note that Champions of Boys 15-18 Brackets and Champion and Runner-Up of Girls 13-18 Bracket will receive 2019 “Golden Tickets”)

Four-Ball Championship
